Something that is considered epic is considered to be extremely great, heroic and even majestic. Epic poems are long poems that consist of events and writing styles that are so great that they can be named EPIC. For example, Avatar and 2012 are considered to be some of the most epic movies of their time. Call of Duty and Halo are considered to be some of the most epic video games of their time.
