A climactic order is an optional pattern of organization in which the most important idea is saved for last. In other words, the writer starts with the least useful ideas and ends with a climax, and therefore has no real ending.
For example Lord of the Rings (the fellowship of the ring) ends with a climactic order, because it is not followed by a resolution and a denouement.
