Informal Language






In writing language, there are three recognized levels of formality, each of which uses different vocabulary and sentence structure


Informal Medium Formal


Informal Language
is spontaneous speech in situations that may be described as natural or "real-life," and the use of a "low” dialect or language in preference to a “high” one. However, it is too casual and loose to be acceptable for academic writing.
