Ominiscient point of view


Ominiscent means "all-knowing". Therefore, an ominiscient point of view is created when the reader can clearly understand the point of view of the characters (protagonist, antagonist, etc.)

For example, I'm going to kill him to avenge my dead father and honor my family! explains better why an antagonist would be doing what it is that he does instead of simply I'm going to kill him because I've been waiting for this for so long...
